🦋💔 “I am 7 years old and I fight every day against Epidermolysis Bullosa”

If you made it this far, you may have already seen my video. I am only 7 years old, and I was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare condition that makes my skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing.

For most children, a hug, a playground slide, or even a clothing tag are normal things. For me, any friction can cause serious wounds that take a long time to heal and hurt a lot.

My skin blisters and tears very easily, and this has been my daily reality since the day I was born.

😭 The hardest moment of my day

The hardest moment of my day is bath time. That’s when my bandages are changed, and my pain becomes impossible to hide.

Many times, the dressing sticks to the wound, and my mommy has to remove it with the greatest care in the world.

We cry together… but I know she does it out of love, so I don’t get an infection.

💔 Why did we create this fundraiser?

My parents fight day and night for me. They never give up, even when exhaustion takes over.

But love, unfortunately, does not pay for treatment. The public health system does not cover everything I need with the necessary frequency.

To live with minimum dignity and less pain, I depend on very expensive medical supplies.

  Essential to keep my skin as hydrated and protected as possible.
